Our Wine - Latest Releases

  • Altiér 2010 (case of 12 bottles)

    pinot grigio, riesling, albarino

Redhouse Altier 2010 release is a gorgeous white from the cool Adelaide Hills,  from the same Lenswood vineyard as 2009, and showing that this is serious territory for this classic and delicious grape variety.

You will clearly see the similarities, with this new one having the same creamy, cereal, banana, melon and honey characters as the 2009, with even more touches of this ‘Hills vineyard’s higher-altitude altitude qualities of crisp minerality. This one is a touch drier and perhaps just a little juicier, more expressive and fruity at the same stage. 2010 is just genuinely regarded as a truly great vintage.

Price is per case of 12 bottles.

    Price: $264.00
  • Mixed Dozen (6x Mediterrané 2008 + 6x Altiér 2010)

Now you can have the best of both worlds...
6 bottles of Redhouse Mediterrané and 6 bottles of Redhouse Altiér

    Redhouse Mediterrané 2008

    shiraz, tempranillo, sangiovese

Redhouse Mediterrane 2008 has a deep, dark red core, with some purple hues at the rim. It is medium to full-bodied, with juicy, fresh, aromatic fruit dominating the front palate. There is liquorice, satsuma plum, cherries, raspberries, boysenberries, with a whiff of violets, rosemary, and vanilla. There’s a lot going on. Texturally the palate firms up at the back, with some grippy, grainy tannins, and the dried herbs of Tempranillo and tight acidity of Sangiovese make their presence felt. These varieties really come into their own on the finish, giving a sinewy strength to the wine’s structure.

  • Altiér 2009 (case of 12 bottles)

    pinot grigio, riesling, albarino

Redhouse Altier Pinot Grigio has a light colour and bright and pure fruit on the nose, with golden delicious apples, musk, pear-skin, orange blossom, and apricot notes. The palate is light, but with a touch of phenolic grip, balanced by barely perceptible residual sugar. Un-oaked, un-maloed, and un-worked, it is driven by the delicate flavours of Grigio from a relatively cool vintage, harvested at a modest but ripe 12.2 Beaumé.

Price is per case of 12 bottles.
